How do downloads work?
Paste a supported public link into Downloads and tap Check link. Choose from the available options. Support varies by source and content; sign-in-only content is not supported.
Where are my downloads?
Saved items appear in Files → Downloads. The Downloads tab shows active work, and History shows recent results.
What if a download or save fails?
If a completed file could not be saved, use Retry Save or open Unfinished Files from Downloads → History or Settings → Storage & Recovery. Transfers interrupted by closing the app completely need to be started again.
What is Watch Later?
Save a video using its Watch Later button in THAAD’s browser, then open Watch Later from Browser. Your saved list plays online and has no manual link entry. Back keeps playback in the mini-player; Close ends it. Saved entries stay until you remove them, and playback needs an internet connection.
How do I find a file?
Search by name at the top level of Files to include all folders and subfolders. Categories and Favorites help narrow the view.
Which files can I open or share?
Preview supported images, PDFs and text, and play audio or video. Other document previews depend on iOS. Use Share via… to send a copy to another app. Files also supports ZIP creation, ZIP extraction and extracting audio from supported videos.
How do I review storage or recover a file?
Open Settings → Storage & Recovery to review categories and large files. Restore deleted items from Trash while they are still there. Emptying Trash permanently removes them; moving a file to Trash alone does not free its space.
What tools are available?
Internet Speed Test measures download, upload, latency and jitter. Music Recognition listens for nearby music after you allow microphone access; moving bars show the sound level. Both need internet and stop when you leave the tool. Music Recognition pauses THAAD playback while listening.
How do I clear browsing data?
Open Settings → Privacy & Blocking. Clear History removes history only. Clear Browsing Data also closes tabs and removes cookies and cache, which can sign you out of websites. Your bookmarks, Watch Later list and saved files remain.
How do I change language or appearance?
Open Settings → Language or Theme. Choose from 18 languages, eight themes, or Follow Device. Text size follows your iPhone’s settings.
